We are actively recruiting a CAA to join our growing practice in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position would join a team of eight physicians and five anesthetists providing care at the Baptist Medical Center Beaches as well as other ASC facilities in the surrounding area. Typical schedule would be four 10 hours days per week and call will be shared equally among the team for weeknights and weekends. The scope of practice would include routine general, ortho, gyn, uro and ent cases.

Florida Anesthesia Associates (FAA) is currently seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join our anesthesia care team at Baptist Health in Jacksonville.  We cover Baptist Medical Center “Downtown,” Baptist Medical Center South, Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute Outpatient Center, & Baptist Eye Institute.  FAA has been the exclusive provider for Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville for over 30 years.

Currently, we are comprised of 31 Anesthesiologists and 8 Full-Time AA’s.  Our allied health providers provide anesthesia for Vascular, Thoracic, Electrophysiology, General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Bariatric, Oral/Maxillofacial, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Podiatry, Eye, Endoscopy, & Interventional Radiology cases.  You will work a fair and equitable schedule with some Overtime and minimal weekend Call.

-$120,000 for recent graduates, $125,000 for those with minimum 2 years experience, based on 40 hours/week. Call will be required.

-Pay Structure: $2,500/yr increase annually, cap at $135,000

-5 weeks of vacation/year, Sick time/personal days included in vacation days

University of Florida Health, Jacksonville

The ideal candidate will be clinically well-rounded, flexible, and readily able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
